Volunteers

Picture
Union County Crime Stoppers is a 501(c)3 organization operating solely by volunteers. (There are no paid employees.) Pictured here are just a few of the 100+ volunteers it takes to make the barbeque happen.

They begin days ahead to make sure everything is purchased and set up ready to go the day of the barbeque. They come one day prior to begin preparing slaw and beans.  On the morning of the event they show up early to get everything ready to go out the door by lunch time. There are also teams of police officers that deliver take-out meals to area businesses who can't make it to the Ag Center for lunch.

We couldn't do it without all the volunteers who work tirelessly to make the event a success!  Special thank you to the SALT Team, Union County Sheriff's Office, Monroe, Marshville and Wingate Police Departments and many more community members.
